Red chillies whole 20-25

Garlic 12-16 cloves

Ginger 1 inch piece

Oil 2 tbsps

Lemon juice 1 tbsp

Vinegar 4 tbsps

Salt to taste

Sugar ½ tsp

| Method to prepare Varadhi thetcha |
Clean and remove stems of whole red chillies. Peel, wash and roughly chop garlic and ginger. Heat oil in a pan, add continue stir-frying for half a minute more. Remove form heat and cool. Grind the above mixture with lemon juice, vinegar, salt and sugar into a fine paste. Serve with bhakris. |
