Easy Suji aur badam ka halwa Recipe

Ingredients for Suji aur badam ka halwa
  • Semolina (rawa / suji) 1 cup
  • Almonds 2 ½ cups
  • Ghee ½ cup
  • Sugar 2 ½ cups
  • Milk 1 cup
  • Saffron few strands
  • Green cardamom powder 1 ½ tsps

Method to prepare Suji aur badam ka halwa

Heat a pan and dry roast semolina.
Blanch almonds, peel and pat them dry. Grind to a coarse powder.
Heat ghee in a pan, add almond powder and saute over medium heat till golden.
Add semolina and mix well.
Add sugar and mix. Add milk and stir to mix well. Let it cook for eight to ten minutes.
Add saffron stir. Continue to cook till the halwa thickens.
Add green cardamom powder and stir to mix well.
Add one tablespoon to finish off and serve hot.
