Easy Rawa naral laddoo Recipe

Ingredients for Rawa naral laddoo
  • Semolina (rawa) 1 ½ cups
  • Coconut (scraped) ¾ cup
  • Pure Ghee 4 tbsps
  • Raisins 2 tbsps
  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Green cardamom powder ½ tsp

Method to prepare Rawa naral laddoo
Heat ghee in a thick-bottomed kadai, stir-fry semolina on low heat till it just starts changing colour to light golden. Add coconut. Continue to stir-fry for one more minute. Wash raisins and pat them dry.
Cook sugar with half a cup of water on medium heat, stirring continuously till it dissolves. Increase heat and bring the syrup to a boil. Cook without stirring for abut five minutes or till it reaches single thread consistency.
Add warm roasted semolina mixture and green cardamom powder to sugar syrup and mix we,,. Cover with a lid and keep aside or thirty minutes, stirring the mixture at regular intervals.
Divide mixture into twelve to fifteen equal portions. Shape into firm laddoos and decorate with raisins.
