Easy Lasagne Recipe

Ingredients for Lasagne


For : 12 servings
Serving Size : 3-by-4-inch square

1 Pound ground beef
¾ Cup chopped onion
1 Clove garlic, peeled and crushed
1 16-Ounce can tomatoes
1½ Cups tomato paste (2 6-Ounce cans)
2 Teaspoons basil
1 Teaspoons slat
8 Ounces lasagne noodles
3 Cups low-fat Cottage cheese
1 Tablespoon parsley flakes
2 Eggs, beaten
¾  Pound shredded mozzarella cheese
½ Cup grated parmesan cheese


Method to prepare Lasagne
Brown beef with onion and garlic.  d”rain.
Add tomatoes, tomato paste, basil, oregano, and salt.  Simmer
uncovered 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Preheat oven to 350o F.
Cook lasagne noodles according to package instructions.
Mix cottage cheese, parsley flakes, and eggs.
In 9- X 13-inch baking pan, layer half the noodles, cottage
cheese mixture, and meat sauce.  Repeat layers with remaining
ingredients.  Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Bake for 45 minutes.  Let stand 10 minutes before cutting into
12 squares (about 3 X 4 inches).
