Easy Oatmeal Cookies Recipe |
| Ingredients for Oatmeal Cookies |
For: 60 cookies
Serving Size: cookies
¾ Cup vegetable shortening
½ Cup brown sugar
½ Cup granulated sugar
1 Egg
¼ Cup water
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
1 Cup flour
1 Teaspoon salt
½ Teaspoon baking soda
1 Cup raisins
3 Cups rolled oats, quick cooking or regular

| Method to prepare Oatmeal Cookies |
Preheat oven to 350o F.
Beat together shortening, sugars, egg, water, and vanilla until
creamy.
Combine flour, slat, and soda. Add to creamed mixture. Add
raisins and rolled oats. Mix well.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet;
makes 5 dozen cookies.
Bake 12 to 15 minutes.
