Wash and prick potatoes with a fork. Preheat oven to 190o C. Bake in a preheated oven at 190o C for forty minutes or till done. Cut potatoes in half and scoop out flesh without spoiling the skin. Skin of the potato is popularly known as the jacket. Peel, wash and finely chop onion. Peel, wash and finely chop ginger and garlic. Clean, wash and chop coriander leaves. Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, onion, ginger and garlic. Saute for a minute. Add scooped potatoes, turmeric powder, coriander powder, pepper powder and garlic salt. Cook further on medium heat for two minutes stirring occasionally adjust seasoning. Spoon mixture back into potato jackets and top each with a tablespoonful of yogurt. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot. |
